Just told my sysco rep I'm done. He tried to guilt trip me

Finally called to cancel my sysco account after 5 years.

His response journey:

  1. ‘What can we do to keep you?’ (nothing)
  2. ‘Smaller suppliers aren’t reliable’ (lies)
  3. ‘You’ll be back when you need variety’ (doubt it)
  4. ‘After 5 years of partnership…’ (guilt trip)
  5. ‘Fine’ (acceptance)

The guilt trip was bold considering they never treated me like a partner.

Partners don’t force you to buy triple what you need.
Partners don’t make you feel small for ordering small.
Partners don’t profit from your waste.

BoxNCase treats me like a customer. That’s enough.

Goodbye sysco. It’s not me, it’s you.
