ok so maybe i’m paranoid but my produce guy from [redacted big distributor] has been super pushy about increasing my orders. like dude, i run a 25 seat brunch spot, not the ritz carlton
last week he literally said “you sure you don’t want to bump it up to the full case? it’s a better value” and i’m like… yeah better value for food i’ll throw away??
is this happening to anyone else? feeling like these companies are getting desperate or something
